General Membership

COSRT Membership contains General categories for people who are not eligible, or choose not to join the Register.  These are designed to meet the needs of people with links to and interest in the fields of Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, but who are not in professional practice. 

All members within these categories are required to adhere to governing documents including COSRT’s Code of Ethics.  But critically, no one holding a General Membership status can carry out Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. 

Each category brings a range of benefits such as journal access and discount to training, but only Senior Accredited (Non-Clinical) Members can use post-nominal letters or the COSRT logo.

General Membership Categories

Open to people with links to and interest in the fields of Psychosexual and Relationship Therapies.  This includes students in related areas, health and social care professionals, and retired therapists. 

Student

This category is for people training to be specialised therapists, or in related education.

Affiliate

For those with an interest in the work of COSRT who wish to maintain an association outside professional activity. 

Professional Associate

For those ineligible for Registered Membership, but who work in and around Psychosexual and Relationship Therapies. 

Retired

For therapists currently not in practice.  Inactivity can be because of retirement or a career break.

Senior Accredited (Non-Clinical)

Senior status for those not in practice, but involved in supporting the delivery of Psychosexual and Relationship Therapies.
