COSRT Annual Conference

On 8th June around 250 delegates attended the 2019 Annual Conference – Sex through the ages.  In the magnificent setting of Friends’ House in central London, participants heard a range of high profile speakers discuss some of the key sexual and relationship issues encountered through various life stages.

Professor Kirby underpinned the day’s content with medical-focused insights, with key note speakers adding clinical and social insight.  Topics examined included the evolving way in which young people learn about sex; the various impacts of the menopause; and how individuals might adapt to older age.

Presentations from the day will be uploaded onto the COSRT website in coming days and weeks, allowing everyone to benefit from the amazing information and debate.

As part of the new conference format participants were able to join breakout discussion groups.  These covered topics such as contracting with sexual offenders, opportunities for training and CPD, and a Q&A session with the new Chief Executive.
