Key Eligibility

Applicants must show they have:

  • Completed training including at least 450 hours Guided Learning.
  • Completed at least 250 hours Guided Learning on Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy or Relationship Therapy.
  • Carried out at least 150 hours supervised placement work within training (for Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist).
  • Carried out at least 100 hours supervised placement work within training (for Relationship Therapist).
  • Been a COSRT Registered Member for at least one year.
  • Been in practice for three years after qualification.
  • Completed 450 hours supervised practice (reduced for certain groups).
  • Sufficient insurance and supervision in place.

Cost

Annual membership is £210 per year running from 1st January to 31st December.  A reduced fee of £168 is available if applicants supply proof they are currently in receipt of income-related benefits. If you join mid-year, membership will be pro-rated for your first year. Monthly instalments are available for UK bank account holders.

If you are eligible to be on both of COSRT’s Registers and apply to have dual registration, you will only pay one fee.
