Biography

Initially trained and practised as a medical doctor, I specialised in sexual and relationship psychotherapy at Porterbrook Clinic in Sheffield. In 2010, I graduated from the ESSM Oxford Sexual Medicine Programme and then moved to Cambridge as an obtained a PhD from Cambridge University specialising in sexuality, sexual learning and education.

In 2012, I was awarded the title of Fellow of European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM) by the Multidisciplinary Committee of Sexual Medicine (MJCSM).

I have worked as a sex therapist and couple counsellor in private practice (since 2009), and for the NHS (2012 – 2020) and Relate (2015 – 2020). I am a Senior Accredited Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).

I run Cambridge Sex Therapy Clinic (www.SexTherapyClinic.co.uk) in Cambridge, UK, at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital. I also have an online practice (www.SexTherapy-Online.co.uk) aiming to make sex therapy and education more accessible for all via using technology.

Along with clinical practice, I’ve been actively involved in education and as an educator & trainer. I provide consultation to organisations and programmes, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators and schools, as well as parents on various sexual health and wellbeing and issues.
