Anvita Madan-Bahel

I have over 20 years of experience in providing therapy.  I work in-depth with trauma, sexual and domestic violence, racial & ethnic identity, relationships – familial as well as partners, sex and sexuality. I have a Ph.D. in counselling psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, where I trained and specialised in multicultural counselling. I further specialised in psychosexual and relational therapy. I have expertise in working with different cultural worldviews, beliefs, values & diversity. I understand the importance of relationships, family, culture, inter-generational dynamics and community. I also work as a trainer/ lecturer and specialise in diversity training as well as comprehensive sexuality education. I divide my time between training, therapy and talking about culture and sex.
