Jane Read

Jane has worked as a psychotherapist, counsellor, and trainer in women’s reproductive health issues, infertility, sexuality and relationships since 1979. She is accredited as a sexual and relationship psychotherapist with COSRT,and is UKCP registered.
She currently works in Edinburgh, and continues a supervision practice both in Edinburgh and in London.
Jane has worked as a visiting tutor for the University of Edinburgh, IPSA (in Ljubljiana, Slovenia), and The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, and continues to provide training in sexuality and infertility as well as supervision to these and other institutions and organisations including British Infertilty Counselling Association. (BICA).
She has been a (BICA)member since its’ inception.
She is the author of a number of articles focussing on fertility and sexuality issues, including the BICA practice guide, ‘Sexual Problems and Infertility’, (1997 and 2011), the book ‘Counselling for Fertility Problems ‘.
