A qualified, enthusiastic, experienced counsellor and specialist Psychosexual Therapist (PST) who works with individuals and couples. Comfortable working and communicating with people from all backgrounds. I am an accredited therapist with The Collage of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), Accredited Couple Counselling for Depression (Tavistock) member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and registered EMDR therapist.
I currently work within a NHS setting and take referrals from GP’s and professional referrals from both primary and secondary care. I see clients with sexual dysfunctions such as, loss of desire, vaginismus, dyspareunia, erectile problems and sexual issues relating to aging, chronic illness and disability, sex addiction and internet pornography addiction.
I have over 30 years experience of working within a Military Environment, both as a serving member of the Queen Alexandra Royal Nursing Corps and in a supporting role as General Practice Nurse and Therapist with Relate. I have a special interest in sexual health and have completed theSexually Transmitted Infection Foundation Course (STIF) British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH)
