| Biography | I am a welcoming and creative practitioner of Psychosexual and Relationship therapy, working with both couples and individuals. I take an integrative approach to my counselling and psychosexual work- I embody the core principles of care, respect and dignity towards my clients, always mindful of the intimate nature of therapy and the sensitive topic matter that clients often present. I draw on my diverse skill set from a number of years within the education sector as well as my counselling training that combined a number of therapeutic schools of thought, including humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I now exclusively work in the field of sex and relationship therapy- for those wishing to embark on this journey with me, you will find it both challenging and transformative, as we work towards your desired destination together. |

| Issues Dealt With | Issues with sexual intimacy – differences in arousal/desire, loss of arousal, non-consummation of relationship, relationship boundary negotiation. Issues with sexual self- overcoming shame/guilt, exploring personal desires/boundaries, sexuality and gender. Overcoming sexual trauma. Women who experience- sexual difficulties relating to menopause, post-natal intimacy, difficulty with penetration (vaginismus), or pain during sex (dysperunia/vulvodynia) or difficulty orgasming (anorgasmia). Men who experience – erectile difficulties. Improving emotional intimacy, communication, assisting couples through the journey of assisted fertility and infertility. Overcoming unhelpful argument patterns/unhelpful relationship patterns or overcoming infidelity or betrayal. |
