Kate McGuire

As an Integrative Psychosexual Therapist, I support individuals and couples struggling with sexual and relationship difficulties, adopting a holistic approach that privileges both mind and body. I practice in a fully inclusive way to support all forms of gender, relationship and sexual diversity. I am also an accredited EMDR practitioner who specialises in working with trauma, attachment disruptions, and loss which can heavily influence one’s experience of sexuality with self and others. With a foundational training in art psychotherapy, I often incorporate creative elements into therapeutic work which, I believe, can reveal aspects of our inner worlds that are beyond the reach of words alone. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where we can begin to explore your present distress, understand past influences and work towards a satisfying future.

I have over 10 years of clinical experience working within a variety of settings including the NHS, the social care sector and a London based private therapy clinic specialising in compulsive sexual behaviours. My practice is culturally enriched by my experiences working in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom over the past decade.
