Kenny MacIntyre

I work with diverse groups and have worked with NHS clients in London and Bright Light clients in Edinburgh.

As well as running my own private practice, Yew Tree Counselling, I also work with Relationship Scotland providing Relationship and Psychosexual counselling. I work with both individuals and couples.

I originally qualified between 1998 and 2002 with a Psychodynamic based Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (Adv. DpH) and as a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). I also hold a BACP accredited Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Therapy (Adv. Dip.) and, a COSRT accredited MSc specialising in Psychosexual Therapy and Relationship Counselling. I am a member of both BACP and COSRT.

I work within the BACP and COSRT Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I believe that all people are different and not one therapeutic approach will benefit all. I employ a range integrative humanistic approaches to suit my clients and their personal situation including Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis as well as Psychodynamics and Psychosexual techniques.
