| Biography | I worked as a Couple, Individual and Psychosexual Psychotherapist and as an Assessor for “Tavistock Relationships” (formerly TCCR) for many years. I work on Harley Street at “Innisfree therapy” where I see couples struggling with the outcome of a partner who has been often compulsively “acting out” of the relationship, causing a lack of trust and the requirement for a new agreement around honesty and transparency (as with use of “porn” and infidelity). My private practice, “Hampstead Couples Psychotherapy” (HCP) is based in London NW3. I see couples who have issues in their relationship, whether or not these are sexual issues and sometimes individuals who have found difficulty connecting with their own sexuality which affects their relationships. Each therapy is an entity in itself and addressed accordingly with a bespoke programme of treatment, employing a mix of Psychodynamic, behavioural and cognitive techniques, together with an emphasis on (psycho)education. Within the context of an exclusive and discreet therapy space, my clients report feeling profoundly listened to and understood. They experience significant levels of positive change in their relationships with others and with themselves and they learn new ways of relating which are long lasting and life enhancing. |
