I didn’t think I would ever need therapy! I was a company director with plans for my career. But life had other things in store, including many hours of individual therapy and couple therapy with my wife, followed by a decade of training in psychotherapy and relationships therapy at Spectrum, Relate and world renowned Tavistock Institute. Therapy changed my life. I am now a specialist in psychosexual and relationship therapy as well as evidence-based couple psychotherapy including Emotionally Focused Couple Psychotherapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Therapy for Couples.

Therapy with me, either as a couple or an individual, is a space for enquiry and curiosity. It’s a vantage point outside your normal activity to review your life and coping strategies and reflect on patterns in your thinking, feelings and behaviour. It’s an opportunity to explore new ways of being and confront fears that are holding you back from fulfilling your potential in life, love, sex and relationships. Couples come to resolve conflicts or explore life questions and transitions, such as when their relationship has been stressed by work, family, illness, addictions, bereavement or affairs, or when there’s been a breakdown in communication. Sometimes the sexual relationship is problematic for one or both partners.

I have clinics in London and Sussex. I adhere to the stringent ethical standards of my regulatory organisations of United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
