| Biography | The purpose of therapy is to help integrate the body and mind – the key to wellbeing. This enables issues to be resolved and the development of a healthy and functioning relationship with oneself, with one’s partner and others. The actual process of integration is often challenging but greatly helped when facilitated by an experienced therapist. An initial exploratory session helps identify the individual or relationship issues that need addressing and allows both client/s and therapist to have a sense of how they might work together and for how long. A variety of cognitive, emotional and somatic modalities can be drawn on to facilitate progress which is periodically reviewed and assessed. Three key principles inform the process, truthfulness, respect and kindness to oneself and others. These three principles help ensure beneficial outcomes. |
