Types of Therapy Used

I am a sex-positive, integrative therapist using different elements of intervention to best meet your needs. Working as a team, you are the expert on you. I offer compassionate, evidence-based care, tailored to your needs, to help you see things already there. I approach the work of therapy using acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), a scientifically validated treatment that puts your values at the centre of therapy. This ACT approach is supported and informed by my professional training in evidence-based sexology, psychosexual psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused ACT (TFACT), Focused ACT for Brief Interventions (FACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS-Informed).

Issues Dealt With

Problem sexual behaviours (PSB), including problematic sex/porn use ('sex/porn addiction'), compulsive sexual behaviours, sex-drug behaviours (chemsex), moral/ethical conflicts with self or others.

Type of Client

My career and practice are built around men’s sexual health, self-identity, and well-being. I offer individual therapy only. Group therapy for problem sexual behaviours commencing summer 2024.
