My aim in therapy is to enable individuals and couples to live life more satisfactorily for themselves, finding safety and connection for themselves and those they may live with. Issues of ability, gender, sexuality, relationships and spirituality give us our sense or identity, belonging and values. Yet these can feel compromised, challenged and confusing dependent upon our upbringing and cultural context and leave us feeling unfulfilled, shameful and lost. I believe that providing a supportive and professional therapy space can help people explore what they need to be for themselves.

Equally times of illness, bereavement and a terminal diagnosis can be supported by providing a therapeutic space to explore feelings, fears and hopes. I have worked with these issues across a variety of healthcare settings as well as in private practice.

Offering trainee and qualified therapists clinical supervision who work in these areas is, I believe, a privilege in supporting the work they undertake in offering therapy to others.
