Biography

I have over 20 years experience of offering relationship Counselling and Psychosexual therapy to both individuals and couples. The chances are that if you are searching on this website, you are finding things difficult at the moment and this may well be affecting your every day life and functioning. Often people have said that being able to talk to someone in a professional capacity, but in complete confidence, really helps to try and make sense of what is happening for them right now. Together we can explore possible choices available to you without judgement or influence on my part, taking time to reflect on how that impacts on you and your life and possibly those around you.

Maybe you are coming to terms with the ending of a relationship or adapting to new challenges as a couple as a result of infidelity, the birth of a child or bereavement. Sometimes loneliness is an issue and maybe a lack of confidence about any possible future relationships, or perhaps you are wanting to explore adapting to a fulfilling single life. These are just a few examples of what people have discussed in counselling before.

Sexual intimacy is a priority for many people, but sometimes differences of opinion regarding how this works for you or problems in performance can cause frustration and upset. These issues may include painful sex, lack of orgasm, erection issues or lack of desire. We can discuss this further and find solutions that are right for you individually or as a couple, encouraging a more fulfilled and happier relationship or future sexually.

I work from my home, encouraging a relaxed approach to therapy where professional boundaries and standards remain a priority and you can attend without fear of someone seeing you entering a known counselling organisation. I hold a professional insurance policy and work within the code and ethics of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapy).
