Velia Carruthers

I am an experienced psychosexual and psychodynamic therapist. I work at present online and offer weekly 50-minute sessions to couples and individuals experiencing problems in their relationships and/or with their sex lives wishing to develop, repair or perhaps ending their intimate relationship. This includes married and unmarried, heterosexual and same-sex couples and from any cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
As well as in private practice, I work at Tavistock Relationships where I am a staff member working as a clinician within their general and psychosexual service, the MBT-CT service and the Divorce and Separation service. At Tavistock Relationships I am also the training team leader for Couple Therapy for Depression, which involves organising trainings in this time-limited integrative model as well as delivering trainings and supervising practitioners working within the NHS .
