Prior to undertaking my psychosexual therapy training, my core professional background was in adult mental health and general nursing. I offer psychosexual and relationship therapy – short or long term, for individuals and couples; male and female sexual dysfunctions, relationship distress. Clients experiencing other sexual concerns/distress (behaviours, thoughts or fantasies). I have extensive clinical experience in working with clients presenting with gender dysphoria/transgender and paraphilias including; voyeurism, exhibitionism, and men having sex with men in ‘public sex environments’ (cruising, cottaging, Grindr). I also work with people who are sexually offending or are at risk of sexually offending against minors (either online, contact/non-contact offences). I accept self referrals, referrals from General Practitioners other medical professionals, social services and probation services.
Whilst working in adult mental health, I was lead psychosexual psychotherapist, working with clients presenting with sexual issues/problems associated with primary and secondary mental health diagnoses. I work with clients with and without concurrent mental health concerns/diagnosis.
